Well... why not to start expanding the scope of my blog? I've already posted a lot of anarchist death metal, thrash metal and dark ambient albums, so there would be not only anarchist black metal and blackened crust. This demo by a German band Altare, brought to me by 7inchcrust, is a very decent melodic black metal release with strong blackened crust overtones. The songs are very catchy, and the band seems to be very promising to me. However I'm not sure if they have any political subjects in their lyrical themes. (UPD: Adam claims to know their drummer; according to his words, their drummer is from Rome and he's a very nice guy).

  1. Hey!

Just wanted to say I've really enjoyed reading your blog. I've learned about quite a few bands that are new to me.

I host a podcast that plays underground metal music. We played Cold Blank Stare on the first episode, and on the next show I plan to play some Panopticon. I'll probably be featuring more RABM as soon as I can receive permission from the artist/labels to play it.

You can check out the link if you or any of your readers are interested in checking out the show. It's not specifically a RABM podcast, but consider it "RABM friendly." :)

    Keep up the good work!

  3. thank you, Brandon! I think it would be safe to play the music of most RABM bands, cause it's totally uncommercial. I can add that link to my links section, if you wish.

2anonymous: that's a great album, I haven't heard anything about Profecium before. Thank you very much for posting that link, I'll post it to my blog right now.

  4. Feel free to put a link to my site on your page. I can do the same for your site on my blog.

And yes, it is strange to ask an anarchist if he is okay with my playing his music (but I do it anyway). I don't imagine they're the types to be too considered with copyright laws. :)
