ESCVRO "Eremita"
And a final thing for today: a new EP from a Brazilian one-man project which supports our blog as well as TDSAU and the (RA)BM underground in general. As always, this EP is completely free for download and distribution. Hopefully I've posted everything I needed now, and will finally leave all the future submissions to the other contributors...

Fair enough.
ReplyDeleteStill, it'd be nice if other blogs were suggested for a Red Anarchist fix. I've only heard of Dark Skies Above Us and a few Facebook, VK groups that are apparently around, but other than that?
Come to think of it, I've always wanted to know what crust/hardcore blogs do the same thing. Even if this blog was posting на полный Катюша as they say, the punk easily outnumbers the RA(B)M releases. Better than nothing. Suggestions?
P.S.- Speaking of the future, contributors that are looking to be nominated onto your blog (hint, hint) are also dealing with their own shit. I hope you watch your e-mail at least.
I'm afraid I didn't fully understand what you wanted to say. If you mean there are pending requests to become a contributor to this blog, then I'm not aware of any, but you should feel free to re-submit your request if you've sent one before and you're sure I've missed it. I check my e-mail almost daily but it's hard to respond to everyone because there are too many messages (many of which look like advertisement of bands that have little or nothing to do with RABM), and even reviewing everything in time isn't easy...
DeleteAs for the blogs, I didn't quite understand what you mean by that too, but if you're talking about blogs that are similar to this blog and TDSAU, I don't think there are many of them. There's a good selection of blogs in the "Links" section, but most of them aren't exactly about RA(B)M. Surely, anarcho-punk/hardcore blogs are much more numerous, but nowadays I'm less interested in pure punk or hardcore than in metal/punk hybrids.
You got the gist.
ReplyDeleteSorry, my English can be as colloquial as can be.
Thats my preference too. I was just hoping someone who read this would suggest some RA hardcore blogs themselves. I stick to metal, but frankly, I can do hardcore music with the same themes; especially since releases on the metal side are rare even without anyone blogging about them. My Googling skills just suck.
Right, I haven't even sent a request yet but the idea is-if not for a few snags of our own in the meanwhile- contributors are waiting in the wings.

You've had some pessimistic takes on the radical left for awhile, but if you're posting at least a few times a year and not abandoning the project entirely, I can roll with that.
I'd hate to start a RABM blog from scratch. Who knows? Maybe more blogspots can only help the radical scene. It would just be a bummer to lose a voice thats so appreciated.
If thats all I wanted you to hear, that would be it.
Thanks for all you do; even if it seems its wearing on ya.
