Finally, the Wake's side of the split is available to download! If you have missed the Skagos side, you can get it here (though it's recommended to support the bands and buy a cassette, if you have such an opportunity). Just like Fauna, Echtra, Threnros and Ash Borer, Wake weren't explicitly political, but they were environmentalists, and they took part in Cascadian black metal scene. Sadly they're already split up...

  2. Calling these guys "environmentalists" doesn't adequately describe the feelings that run through a lot of these Cascadian bands. It's not about "the environment" - its about Mother Earth and the manner in which civilization has disrespected her. Far beyond environmentalism.

    But yeah, a re-upload would be appreciated, as track 4, which is the best track on the whole cassette (along with the Skagos track) is destroyed.
